The Fight Against Breast Cancer

This year, my mom Lorrie, good friend Vicky and myself are expanding the ways in which we have supported the fight against Breast Cancer.  For the past 3 years, Mom, Vicky and I, along with many others, have participated in the CIBC Run For The Cure, enjoying every minute of it.  In 2009, we won the prize for the most fundraised by a 'Friends & Family' team for the Niagara region.  We've decided it's time to go 'BIG'!

On September 10th & 11th of 2011, we will be participating in 'THE WEEKEND TO END WOMEN'S CANCER', with our fundraising being donated specifically for Breast Cancer.  The walk will take place over 2 days in Toronto and will be 60 km long.  Our hope is to fundraise $10,000.00 as a team.

Presently, there is a Scrap Bin set up by V&R Recycling at the corner of Hwy #3 and #17 in Dunnville, where you are able to drop off any unwanted scrap metal, with the entirety of the bin going towards our walk.

We will be sure to keep you updated on the various ways you can support us for this walk, as we have many events and fundraisers planned!

You can also go to www.endcancer.ca and donate to The Pink Ribbons directly if you wish.

Stay tuned!!

Love,

Rachel, Lorrie & Vicky - The Pink Ribbons
